LCE Splash Day tomorrow, Thursday, May 22 for students with zero referrals and no N's in conduct and work habits! Students attending should come to school dressed appropriately for splash day and bring a plastic bag with a towel and dry change of clothes. Crocs are ok!

"More Zzz's please! How many hours of sleep does your child need nightly?" Preschool (10–13 hours), Elementary (9–12 hours), and Teens & older (8–9 hours). Your child should be falling asleep within 15–30 minutes, They should try to avoid screen time and caffeine before bed, and establish consistent routines. Benefits of good sleep include: better concentration, memory, school performance, and mood.
Little Dragon Cheer Camp June 11 - 13 in the LPH Commons. Ages 4yrs to 5th grade, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. cost $60. Register before May 9th to receive a t-shirt. Participants will get to cheer at a LPH varsity football game. Register at the link below.

Leap into Learning Family Night" event sponsored by Title I for all SBHC Schools. Join our LCE Family April 10, 2025, from 5:15–7:15 PM at Memorial Elementary, 867 Memorial Drive, Avon Park, FL. All district families are invited. There will be lots of hands-on activities, resources, expert tips, information on Pre-K, Kindergarten registration, and summer programs. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
