Tonight was senior night for boys' soccer.
Congrats to the four boys who were honored tonight with their families by Coach Virkler.
The seniors are Jose Islas,
Carlos Andre,
Juan Pablo Vera Sosa, and
David Najera Guzman.
We wish you luck with the remaining games of the season.
Congratulations to Skyler Navarro, who signed today to play softball for the South Florida State College Panthers upon graduation.
Skyler plans to attend SFSC to obtain her AA and continue her education in the EMT program.
Congrats, Skyler! We can't wait to see your next adventure!

Congratulations to Avon Park High School which has been named to the 2023 AP School Honor Roll! Avon Park High School is a Bronze member of the Honor Roll! APHS had 58% of seniors who took at least one AP exam during high school, 28% of seniors scoring 3 or higher on at least one AP exam and 16% of seniors who took five or more AP exams during high school. Congratulations to the APHS Class of 2023 for this great recognition.

On Monday evening, the SBHC held the Summit Awards to recognize all of the Teachers of the Year and School Related Employees of the Year. We enjoyed celebrating our very own Teacher of the Year, Heather Knight, and School Related Employee of the Year, Luis Rivera. Thank you both for all you do for our students.

At Tuesday evening's school board meeting, our very own Rose Kirby was recognized for her years of service to SBHC. Rose has been a valued employee for over 36 years. Thank you, Mrs. Kirby for all you do for our students, staff and family.

Underclassmen, please be reminded that THIS Friday is picture retake day. If you missed the first picture day, this will be your only opportunity to get your picture taken for the yearbook. This will also be the time In which to retake your photo if you were unhappy with the first. Information on purchasing photos can be found at my.lifetouch.com.
Seniors - This is a reminder about upcoming yearbook deadlines. The deadline to submit a senior ad is January 12. You can find the order form for the senior ad on the school website.
All students: Be sure to order your yearbook by December 21 - when pricing will go from $65 to $75. Please contact Ms. Ball if you have any questions.
