Principal's Message

Dear Mustang Families,

As we close this semester and 2023, I want to express how wonderful it is to see the effort our students, parents, and staff put into each day! Since we returned to school in August, we have not let any obstacles stop our school from continuing to blaze a trail of educational excellence. The second semester closes on December 21. We will continue to give our best as we Level Up into 2024.

Last month started out with the return of CTE’s annual Hoedown! The turnout, enthusiasm, and positive energy that surrounded the event’s return were truly remarkable. It was heartwarming to witness our school community come together to celebrate as a school family. The collaboration, support, and genuine camaraderie displayed by students, parents, staff, and our PTO contributed to the event's success in ways that words can hardly capture. Special thanks to our PTO Team for working together and bringing this awesome event back!

Last month’s Veteran’s Day program was wonderful. I want to thank all who attended to celebrate the sacrifices our veterans make for us and our great country. I also want to thank our local VFW Color Guard, Mustang Chorus, Mr. Hayes, Mr. Belanger, Superintendent Dr. Longshore, and our staff & students for respectfully honoring our community’s veterans.

Our annual Winter Concert is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to showcase the incredible talents of our Mustang Chorus. Join us on Tuesday, December 19 at 6 PM for an evening of music, joy, and holiday spirit. Your support is invaluable, and we look forward to seeing you there.

Christmas Break is coming!! After our early release dismissal on Thursday, December 21, our Mustangs will be out of school from Friday, December 22 to Monday, January 8, 2024. We will return to school on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. We will jump into our usual activities and academics. Please continue to provide the additional support at home and we will do our part on campus.

December is a time for reflection and gratitude. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our entire school community for your continued support of our Mustangs and each other. Together, we have created a positive and nurturing environment for our students to thrive.

Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a happy new year. May the spirit of warmth and togetherness fill your homes during this festive season.

Respectfully,

Mr. Rick Kogelschatz - Principal
