Yesterday, the Adaptive PE department of The School Board of Highlands County hosted an exceptional Special Stars event at Fireman's Field for our students.
We wish to shout out our Mustang Student Leadership Team for creating signs and coordinating a pep rally before our Special Stars departed for their event!
More than 150 students from various schools in the district participated in numerous track and field activities, supporting each other with cheers and enthusiasm. Gratitude goes to Mr. Foster, our adaptive PE coach and one of the event's organizers, the parents who showed up to cheer on their children, and most importantly, our students who put forth their best efforts!
